TeacherActive are working with a secondary school in Birmingham who are currently looking for a humanities teacher to support them. This is to support with Geography and History lessons, so knowledge of both specialism is desired!

They are looking for someone to join their ream as soon as possible, successful applicants will be consider for permenant vacancies in the new academic year also!  

The successful teacher will be required to have a strong presence in the classroom and enhance the learning of KS3- KS4 Students.

Our Successful Humanities Teacher will need to:

• Have great timekeeping
• Have excellent classroom management
• Adapt to different environments
• Maintain the standards/ethos of the school they are in
• Plan and Prep (depending on the school)
• Have QTS (Instructors will be considered)

As a Humanities Teacher you will have:

• Over 1 years' experience within an educational environment
• Excellent communication skills
• A firm knowledge of the National Curriculum
• A yearning to have influence
