JOB TITLE: Bank Residential Support Worker, Cambridgeshire

SALARY: £11.68 - £12.09 per hour (dependent on experience) + sleep-ins (£50 per night) + benefits

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN BRIEF:

• Ensuring that all children and young people have their needs met and are safeguarded from harm, neglect, abuse or exploitation.
• Responding to any child care concerns appropriately.
• Ensuring that the building, equipment and furniture is well maintained.
• Working effectively and can co-ordinate with social workers, parents/guardians and other connected professional agencies.

IDEAL CRITERIA:

• Previous experience working within residential childcare, or similar environment
• Strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
• Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or be willing to work towards this (with the company’s full support)
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Willingness to be flexible, including shift patterns and sleep-ins
