Description

As Assistant Accountant, your key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

• Provide financial support and advice to the team and stakeholders.
• Ensure financial compliance with industry and government regulations.
• Prepare and present financial reports and budgets.
• Contribute to financial decision-making processes.
• Assist in implementing financial plans and strategies.
• Monitor and manage financial risks.
• Collaborate with other departments in financial matters.
• Perform bank and statement reconciliations.
• Participate in financial audits and implement recommendations.

Profile

The successful applicant should ideally hold the following:

• Strong Accounts experience gained from previous employment.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
• Proficiency in financial software's and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Must have worked within Financial Services in the past therefore, hold industry experience.

Job Offer

Salary ranging up to £55,000 (Dependent on experience) + Flexible hybrid working offering two days from home per week and flexible hours if needed + Opportunity to work in a supportive team environment + Chance to progress within the Financial Services industry + 12-Month fixed contract + Immediate start.
