Salary Range: £40,000 - £70,000 per year

Role Overview:

As our Quantity Surveyor/Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our project lifecycle. Your expertise in estimating will drive accurate cost assessments, ensuring our projects remain competitive and profitable. You’ll collaborate closely with our project managers, subcontractors, and clients to achieve successful outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Estimating: Prepare detailed cost estimates for dry lining and plastering projects, considering materials, labor, and other relevant factors.
• Quantity Surveying: Manage project costs, track expenses, and handle variations.
• Tender Submissions: Prepare and submit compelling tenders, demonstrating our competitive edge.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate potential risks related to cost overruns and project delays.
• Cost Control: Monitor project budgets and provide timely reports to senior management.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in estimating within the construction industry, specifically dry lining and plastering.
• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field (preferred).
• Technical Skills: Proficient in estimating software and tools.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate
