Manpower Engineering are currently seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team at an Ethelene Plant in Fife. This pivotal role involves planning, coordinating, and overseeing day-to-day field operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and review of submittals, RFIs, and RFCs, providing expert recommendations.
  • Oversee contractor health and safety plans, including traffic control and erosion control measures.
  • Monitor and verify work quantities for accurate payment processing.
  • Identify and help resolve non-conformance issues in construction, ensuring compliance and quality control.
  • Serve as the lead company representative at various project sites, ensuring smooth operations and excellent contractor relations.


Experience

  • Proven experience in field construction planning, execution, and completions.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites, including potential overseas assignments.
  • Strong background in Construction Materials Testing procedures and familiarity with ASTM standards.
  • A proactive, enthusiastic self-starter with a commitment to providing excellent service.
  • Previous experience in petrochemical projects is an advantage.

Hours

  • Standard schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off
