ChandlerKBS are seeking to recruit an Internal Recruiter (12 months FTC – potential opportunity for extension) to join our team in our Penarth Office to support the Recruitment process within Cumming Europe Limited, CEL, across all UK offices.

The role of an Internal Recruiter includes the following responsibilities:

- Develop a strong knowledge of the business requirement to identify candidates and suitability for each requirement.

- Utilise all resources available to pro-actively source candidates.

- Review and create attractive job boards/vacancy/opportunities to support Recruitment Administrator in advertising.

- Identify and sign off vacancies with Partners – review and update job descriptions were necessary.

- Attend resource meetings.

- Update the jobs page on ChandlerKBS website.

- Maintain Talent Library for all candidates, keeping information for future us and removing in line with GDPR.

Job Boards -

- Review and reply to all interested applicants in the absence of Recruitment Administrator.

- Forward to relevant Partner and organise interviews if relevant.

- Use the Recruiter aid to search job boards for potential candidates – discern between all candidates looking for new opportunities, to identify suitable applicants and contact them requesting their cv and interest in current vacancies.

- Identify suitable job boards for recruitment – research cost and accessibility of what is currently in the market. Liaise with HR and partners to identify most suitable boards.

- Once relevant Job Boards have been set up – update regularly and manager all correspondence with interested applicants.

Interviews -

- Contact potential candidates including briefing them on our interview process and managing their expectations effectively.

- Conduct interviews with Partners / Line Managers and carrying out inductions.

- Keep all recruitment paperwork up to date.

- Book rooms and send diary invites when arranging interviews.

- Issue paperwork to candidates and Partner prior to interviews.

- Follow through feedback to candidate.

- Ensure references are sent and received for every new starter alongside Recruitment Administrator.

- Meeting visitors.

- Maintaining GDPR process and confidentiality at all times.

Inductions -

- Send out first day information.

- Create and send induction packs to all new starters.

- Create online induction programme for all new starters and ensure HR files are created accordingly.

- Carry out ChandlerKBS induction as well as Health & Safety Inductions on first day prior to handing over to line manager.

- Ensure Right to Work document is completed prior to start date and securely filed.

- Demonstrate strong organisational skills.

- Be confident in influencing and negotiating with all levels of seniority, along with the ability to build relationships both internally and externally.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Experience of in-house recruitment and identifying cv fits to vacancies.

- Excellent interpersonal, communication and teamworking skills.

- Self-motivated, highly organised team player.

- Flexible – may have some interviews outside core hours.

- Be able to demonstrate working under pressure and have a clear understanding of commercial business drivers and role of resourcing in creating a successful organisation.

- Hands on and an action orientated person.

- Able to communicate confidently with candidates and staff.

- Accuracy and attention to detail.

- Commitment to continually improve processes.

- Ability to manage conflicting demands.

- Proficient in the use of Microsoft word and excel; PowerPoint skills would be an advantage.
