Info about what the role entails

As a production manager, your responsibility will be to guarantee the safe, cost-efficient, and timely manufacturing of products, while also ensuring they meet the expected quality standards. Additionally, you'll oversee the productivity of the production team, providing reports and implementing change initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency in line with top-tier performance standards.

Essential Requirements of the Product Manager

• Leadership role in manufacturing within the electronics or a related industry
• Demonstrated leadership and managerial experience at an operational level, showcasing a track record of success (minimum 5 years)
• Proficiency in Lean methodologies with a documented history of continuous improvement
• Capability to oversee a diverse product range with varying production volumes.
• Established familiarity with ERP systems and business planning tools.
• Knowledge of Environment, Health, and Safety legislation, as well as Employment Law.
• Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant engineering/electronics field.
• SC cleared or ability to obtain.

Desirable Requirements of the Product Manager

• Experience working within Experience in microelectronics within an aerospace and defense setting would be advantageous.
• Possess a management qualification or be a Chartered Member of a professional body related to the industry.
