Seeking Passionate Teaching Assistants for SEN Schools in Lambeth

  • Position: Teaching Assistants for SEN Schools  
  • Location: Lambeth
  • Full-time - 8.30am-4pm

Role Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant in one of our SEN schools, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. You will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support and interventions both in and out of the classroom, helping students to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN  
- Assisting with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)  
- Supporting students with their academic, social, and emotional development  
- Promoting positive behaviour management strategies and de-escalating challenging situations  
- Liaising with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure a collaborative approach to student support  
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and reporting any concerns to the relevant staff members  

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with SEN is desirable but not essential  
- A compassionate and patient approach to supporting vulnerable learners  
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  
- A willingness to undergo relevant training and professional development  
- A DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
