The Role: We are seeking a passionate and dynamic English teacher to join a dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be someone who can inspire and motivate students with a love for literature and language. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to KS3 and KS4 that cater to a variety of learning styles, assessing student progress, and contributing to the school’s thriving English department.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality English lessons that align with the national curriculum.
* Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
* Assess and record student progress, providing feedback to help them achieve their full potential.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and materials.
* Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events.

Requirements:

* A degree in English or a related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* Proven experience in teaching English at the secondary level.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to continuous professional development.
