We are recruiting a full-time, EYFS Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in the Stockport area, starting immediately until the end of the academic year. There could be the option of securing a permanent contract.

EYFS Teaching Assistant role & responsibilities:

* Use specialist skills/training/experience to support pupils and enhance their learning and so progress
* Undertake programmes linked to local and national learning strategies eg. Literacy, numeracy, EYFS/KS1 recording achievement and progress and feeding back to the teacher
* Prepare, maintain and use equipment/resources required to meet the lesson plans/relevant learning activity and assist pupils in their use
* To work with small groups of children and to take responsibility for their learning

Non-negotiables:

* Previous experience of working with children in a voluntary, placement, or paid capacity.
* Knowledge of the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage and the National Curriculum
* Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) Level 1 upwards
* Good numeracy and literacy skills
