Graduate TA SEN
- Location: Newcastle
- Salary: £75 - £100 per day
- Contract: Full Time, Temporary to Permanent
GSL Education are actively recruiting Graduate SEN Teaching Assistants to support students with special educational needs in diverse educational settings in Newcastle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the educational and social development of students with SEN.
- Work closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to implement effective learning plans.
- Assist in adapting materials to meet the needs of students.
- Provide emotional and administrative support to students.
Requirements:
- A university degree and a keen interest in special education.
- Compassionate and patient approach to dealing with challenging behaviour.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Commitment to professional development and learning.
Please note: These roles require a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful candidates must satisfy all background checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
