As a Health & Safety Administrator you will perform many varied tasks including:
- Assist in promoting and developing a safety culture throughout facility, ensuring effective administration of policies, procedures, and responsibilities.
- Purchase PPE and other equipment associated with occupation health and safety
- Support compliance with IDEX Health and Safety, Risk, Business Continuity, and Environmental policies and processes.
- Provide administrative support to operational line management and functional teams to manage a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the EHS Advisor to promote a safety first culture through the introduction of visual aids and notice board updates
- Assist in the production and review of detailed risk assessments.
- Support the maintenance of quality systems to retain ISO accreditation.
- Utilise the EHS systems to correctly log/manage incident, accident, and statutory inspections and enquiries
As the successful Health & Safety Administrator, you will have:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in health and safety administration
- Strong communication skills and relationship management abilities
- Experience of promoting health and safety company wide
- Experience working in a standards/compliance environment
- Ideally holds a Health and Safety Qualification (e.g., IOSH managing safely /working towards NEBOSH)
- Proficient with MS office and other industry standard IT tools.
