We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pipefitter Welder to join our team in Basildon. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented professional to showcase their expertise in a workshop-based role.
This is long term contracting work, 6+ months assembling & fabricating pipes for Petro chemical plant projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Fabrication of butt and fillet welds on various projects.
• Proficient in TIG welding of 8" and 6" mild/ stainless steel pipes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and industry regulations.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Pipefitter Welder, preferably in a workshop setting.
• Skilled in TIG welding techniques for mild steel pipes.
• Familiarity with welding codes and standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Valid welding certifications are a plus.
Monday-Friday 50+ hours p/w , weekend work available at an enhanced rate.
