Cover Supervisor

Realise Education are recruiting for an enthusiastic, passionate cover supervisor teacher to join their quality secondary school’s in London. Are you an ambitious individual with a real passion for helping students reach their full potential and ready to inspire?

The cover supervisor will be responsible for helping pupils become more independent in their learning by engaging confidently with the classroom and encouraging pupils to interact when the class teacher is absent. The role requires you to support pupils as they are working to understand how to complete the task materials which have been assigned by their class teacher.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high quality teaching with training materials provided by class teacher
• Develop and implement effective teaching and techniques to engage and motivate students
• Use a variety of resources and teaching to create a dynamic and stimulating environment
• Work collaboratively with other members to ensure smooth running of the lesson
• Managing a classroom to ensure that students remain on task
• Be supportive, helpful, enthusiastic and approachable

Job Requirements

• Enhanced DBS certification
• Right to work in the UK
• Passionate about helping children become the best version of themselves
• Excellent communication skills
• An eye for detail and accuracy
