We are working with a key client who are a heavy material, process handling & capital equipment engineering and installation company, based out of Yorkshire. We are recruiting for and experienced Site H&S Specialist, on a key customer site in London for a minimum of a 3–4-month contract, on a major process site upgrade. There is a possibility this will get extended further.

The Site H&S Specialist will be responsible day to day for the following:

  • Overseeing skilled workforce and site contractors to ensure H&S processes & procedures are being met
  • Running audits – reporting, pictures etc
  • Ensuring H&S project deliverables are being met
  • Reporting H&S issues to Project Manager & Construction Director
  • Help put things right – resolve and resolutions – be a problem solver
  • Checking all RAMs and Permits and related paperwork is administered and filed correctly

The successful Site H&S Specialist will have the following attributes:

  • Experience on £multi-million project engineering installs
  • NEBOSH general certificate / Site safety passport
  • Formal engineering qualifications
  • First Aid
  • Prepared to do 7 days a week in shutdown period – June / July
