Are you a passionate and knowledgeable educator with a flair for teaching Religious Education (R.E)? Join us as a Teacher of R.E at our schools in Harlow and inspire students to explore and understand the diverse world of religious beliefs and practices, starting immediately.

As a Teacher of R.E, you will have the exciting opportunity to engage students in meaningful discussions about religion, ethics, and spirituality. Your role will involve planning and delivering thought-provoking R.E lessons that encourage critical thinking, empathy, and respect for different perspectives.

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who are committed to providing high-quality education and supporting students' spiritual and moral development. The ideal candidate will have a strong subject knowledge in R.E, excellent communication skills, and a passion for promoting understanding and tolerance.

As a Teacher of R.E, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering dynamic and interactive R.E lessons that engage and challenge students.
  • Exploring a range of religious beliefs, traditions, and ethical issues, fostering students' curiosity and inquiry.
  • Facilitating respectful and open-minded discussions about sensitive topics related to religion and morality.
  • Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to integrate R.E into cross-curricular learning experiences and school-wide initiatives.

The successful candidate will be compassionate, adaptable, and committed to promoting diversity and inclusivity in the classroom. A relevant teaching qualification and experience in teaching R.E are highly desirable.
