The Company:
Boutique construction company (with a fascinating back-story), with owners who are very well-connected in the super-prime residential sector. Low staff turnover, and carry out 3-4 projects at any one time. Staff are given full autonomy to carry out their job duties, everyone is self-sufficient and pulls their weight. Project values range from £1m - £2m
The Project:
The company has a requirement for a Site Manager to deliver a logistically challenging refurbishment of an existing property opposite Hyde Park, within a private estate. The work comprises basement works (to be lowered 1m), major structural alterations new front lightwell, new drainage, high-end fit-out, gym and sauna. This is a circa £3m, 45-week project.
Duties:
The contracts manager manages the main programme, so the site manager would be expected to carry out the day-to-day site management duties (short-term programmes, RAMS, RFI's , use of Procore, Charing meetings, minutes, quality control etc.
Experience:
At least 4yrs experience as a No1 on high-end residential projects
Good technical background (for example trade)
Steady track-record
PC literate and able to use Procore (or similar platforms)
Person:
Confident, articulates well, team player, well-presented, good energy, enthusiastic, likeable, calm, motivated, passionate, good eye for detail and candid.
