We are currently recruiting for an 'Outstanding' SEND setting in the Wakefield area who are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team.
The role will be supporting the schools young people aged 5-13 so predominately Primary aged children . The children and young people in school who face multiple challenges in school and have a range of complex learning needs (including Autism Spectrum Disorder/ SEMH needs) and traumas.
The school are looking for a trauma-informed practitioner to support as HLTA in the school and someone to make their young people feel they are in a safe space to learn and also develop their social skills.
Ideally you will be Team teach trained to Level 2, although this training can be provided by our in-house trainers.
