Senior QS required for a growing groundworks RC frame contractor in London/Bedfordshire.
Working within a small team the role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to take personal ownership of the division to grow a successful team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial aspects of our groundworks and civil engineering projects.
- Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, and other necessary documentation.
- Conduct cost analysis and forecasting.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure that contractual requirements are met.
- Evaluate and manage subcontractor claims and variations.
- Report on project financial performance to senior management.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the groundworks and civil engineering sectors.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
