KS3/4 SEND class Teacher with a confidence in Maths (Primary Teachers welcome)

Supply Desk is currently looking for a QTS teacher who is confident teaching maths to teach children with Special Education Needs in Portsmouth . This could be a Primary teacher as lots of the children are not working at a KS3 or 4 level. This role also includes teaching English and Foundation Subjects.

The role:

  • Must have QTS to teach KS3/4 students with a variety of additional needs, including ADHD, ASD, and SEMH.
  • Teaching children from a range of ages, backgrounds & abilities.
  • Effectively engage students in English, Maths and foundation subjects’ study.

You will need:

  • To hold QTS status
  • To be passionate about making a positive influence on children who require additional support
  • To be able to teach Maths to KS3/4 level
  • Have or be willing to obtain a valid & up to date DBS.
  • Be able to effectively engage and manage students.
  • Be able to work flexibly.
