Then this KS2 Classroom Support Assistant position in a diverse Primary School in Haringey is perfect for you! Within this role, you will be supporting multiple pupils across Y5 & Y6 to achieve their best academic and social potential.

As a KS2 Classroom Support Assistant, you will be leading 1:1 and group intervention sessions with pupils who may be struggling more in certain academic areas (English, Maths & Phonics). There will also be times when you may be required to assist pupils with additional learning needs (ASD, ADHD, SP&L etc).

This position is great for those who are looking to gain classroom experience before progressing onto Teacher Training or a PGCE in the new academic year!

KS2 Classroom Support Assistant: ROLE SPEC

• KS2 Classroom Support Assistant
• Supporting pupils across Y5 & Y6
• May involve supporting SEN pupils (ASD, ADHD, SP&L etc)
• Holding 1:1 and group intervention sessions to improve Maths, English and Phonics skills
• ASAP Start - Full-time position
• £105 - £110 per day - Term time only
• Based in Haringey

• Degree in Psychology or a similar course
• Previous experience working with children (Tutoring, TA, Nannying etc)
• Previous experience working with SEN (ASD, ADHD, SP&L etc) is desirable
• Be a bubbly and caring individual who can work well within a wider team
