Moxie People are recruiting for a part-time Family Support Worker role that will work in the heart of Cardiff with a leading Welsh charity. We're looking for a vibrant and confident Support Worker, who has a passion for putting an end to domestic violence once and for all!

• Salary: £22,800/year (full-time equivalent salary)
• Location: Cardiff
• Hours: Part-Time, 21 hours/week (Flexible working hours that fit around your lifestyle)
• Contract duration: 11-month contract until 31/03/2025

Overview of this Family Support Worker role:

As the Family Support Worker, you will work across Mother and Baby services in Cardiff, delivering engaging training sessions and group workshops to mothers on domestic violence awareness.

What you'll need?

• Experience working in a front-line advice or support role in homelessness, domestic violence, mental health, or other relatable services.
• A strong understanding of domestic violence and its impact on women and families (including trauma).
• Experience delivering group workshops or training would be advantageous.
• A confident communicator, who is comfortable speaking with a group of people.

It takes a special person to provide the support, advice and guidance which families with lived experience of domestic violence need in order to heal and move on from their abuse.
