6:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Friday

Duration: Contract, Full-time

Salary: £11.99 - £20.98 depending on hours worked

Job Description:
Our client are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join their team at Heysham Power Station, one of the leading nuclear power facilities in the UK. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across designated areas within the power station premises.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning duties according to established protocols and schedules.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, corridors, and other areas as required.
• Empty and dispose of waste bins and recyclables.
• Refill consumable items such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with occasional special cleaning projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles preferred.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to work early morning shifts (6:00 AM start) Monday through Friday.
• Flexibility to occasionally work additional hours or weekends as needed.
• Must be eligible to undergo CTC Clearance.
• For awareness, CTC Clearance process can take anywhere between 8 - 12 weeks.
