Job description 

We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our clients busy distribution centre based in Avonmouth as a Class 1 Driver, working 5 shifts a week. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to progress in their career with a large company. 

Class 1 Delivery Driver

• Morning Starts - 02:00-06:00 approx 10-12 hour shifts

• 5 Shifts a week Mon-Fri

• Start ASAP ongoing work – assessment required

• Pay Rates are as follows:

Weekdays

Days (06:00 - 1600) - £15.68

Afternoons (1600- 2200) - £17.25

Nights (2200 – 0600) - £18.82

Time & a Half after 45 hours

Weekends

Days (0600 – 1600) - £20.38

Afternoons (1600- 2200) - £21.95

Nights (2200 – 0600) - £23.52

Class 1 Delivery Driver Responsibilities

• Store Deliveries

• Loading & unloading required - Cages, Dollies & Rails.

• Routine vehicle checks and general upkeep/cleanliness of the cab. 

• Making sure that the load is correctly placed and secure before driving.

 Essential Experience/ Qualities for this position

• Great work ethic.

• Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience.

• Digital Tacho Card & CPC Card.

• Be professional and presentable at all times.

• Have a flexible approach to work and changing circumstances.

• Must not hold any more than 6 points on your license.

• No IN10, TT99 or DR10.
