UK Life Underwriter | 12 Month Contract | £400 per day
I am currently looking for multiple underwriters to join a global insurance client on a long term contract. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver claims at sign off level 5/6 and will have prior experience working in the UK Life Insurance sector.
• 12 Month Contract
• Inside IR35
• Fully Remote
• Immediate Start
• Up to £400 per day
What we expect from you:
• You will have a proven working knowledge of Income Protection, Life, Critical Illness and disability products
• You will provide fair and balanced underwriting decisions using the appropriate amount of evidence necessary
• You will have general knowledge of insurance industry codes and current practices
• You will liaise with Customer Services, Sales and our reinsurance partners when required, representing the Underwriting department in a positive and collaborative way
• You will be able to demonstrate good lateral thinking and proactive problem-solving skills, have sound decision making skills and the ability to recognize risk events, manage and escalate these where appropriate.
