We are representing Bromley Council in resourcing for Parks Project Manger

To commission and deliver strategic projects for parks and open spaces that meet the Council’s strategic, and policy aims and objectives, and specifically that deliver the outcomes in the Open Space Strategy.

The role focuses on developing strategic solutions with greenspace services, in response to budget pressures, new legislation, best practice, local resident’s needs, transformation and service requirements.

Design, develop and produce high-quality strategies, business plans and project management documentation

To develop and promote effective working relationships with a range of external and internal stakeholders to add value to project delivery.

Design, plan, develop, co-ordinate and manage a programme of complex Open Space projects that meet the Council’s strategic and policy objectives, with a focus on:

    • Open Space Strategy
    • Carbon Net Zero Action Plan
    • Tree Management Strategy

and which support the management of parks and open spaces as set out in the relevant Service Delivery Plans and Park Management Plans.

To develop robust business cases for investment in Parks and Open Spaces, carefully researching and analysing data to support options appraisals and evaluations, including keeping up to date with best practice for parks management.

To work with management to support the development of strategies for the management of greenspace, keeping informed about policy changes, technological developments and statutory changes that could impact on the services.
