Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) 
  • Passion for teaching and inspiring students to explore the world around them.
  • Creative approach to curriculum design and delivery, incorporating diverse teaching methods and technologies.
  • Forward-thinking mindset, with a willingness to explore new ideas and approaches to teaching and learning.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic and interactive geography lessons that capture the imagination of students.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and technologies to engage learners and cater to different learning styles.
  • Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills through hands-on exploration and inquiry-based learning activities.
  • Incorporate real-world examples and case studies to connect classroom learning to global issues and current events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the ongoing development of the geography curriculum.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic progress and personal growth.
