Work hours: 37.5 hours/week, 30 minute dinner break

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for an Electrician for a FM Services and Engineering company. This role requires you to undertake improvement work, maintenance and repairs of plant, services and physical assets including testing and routine fault finding. Some of other duties include;

  • Interpret and work from all instructions, drawings, and specifications appropriate to his/her own trade, without supervision.

  • Set up New Work appropriate to his/her own trade using relevant tools, equipment, and machinery, without supervision, as appropriate to his/her grade.

  • After appropriate training, work off tower scaffolding, MEWP’s, ladders, and step ladders and within confined spaces.

  • To carry out unsupervised maintenance and repairs and report any defects or unusual circumstances to the Supervisor.

  • Requirement to learn new techniques with training, as necessary.

  • Scope of work will include entering departments containing service users undergoing various treatments/procedures after reporting to departmental staff. Occasional exposure to distressing or emotional circumstances could be encountered.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Electrical Installation – Approved apprenticeship with either: 

  • City & Guild 236 Part 1, 2 & 3 Parts A, B, C or 

  • City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1, 2, 3 or 

  • City & Guilds 2330 Level 2, Level 3, (Level 4 – desirable) or 

  • City & Guilds 2560 (2357) – Diploma

  • 18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations (BS 7671 – 2018 Amendment)

  • HTM-06-(02)(03)  Competent Person for LV

  • Driving licence
