Job Title: Waste and Transport Manager

Location: On-site

Pay Rate: Negotiable

Assignment Duration: 1 month with potential extension

Are you a seasoned professional with experience in waste management and transportation? Do you thrive in an environment where your leadership skills make a tangible difference? We are currently seeking a Waste and Transport Manager to join our clients team on-site.

Responsibilities
* Lead waste, recycling, and street cleansing services, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
* Manage Council transport, including fleet and workshop services.
* Drive continual improvement in service quality and efficiency.
* Oversee day-to-day operations and resource management.

Requirements
* Significant management experience in waste/recycling services and/or fleet/transport management services, including maintenance, within a publicly scrutinised and corporately governed environment.
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
* Budget management expertise.
* Membership of the Chartered Institute of Waste Management or Institute of Transport Engineers, or a relevant degree preferred.
