I have been asked to go on the hunt for a capable and experienced Site Engineer in Birmingham for my client's HS2 projects.
This contractor is one of the top reinforced concrete specialists in the UK in terms turnover, profit and market presence. With successfully delivered schemes in the commercial, residential and infrastructure sectors they need an Engineer to join them on a long-term basis for schemes in and around Birmingham.
For this opportunity, please note the following:
There will be no requirement for instruments- these are provided by my client.
You will need previous heavy civil engineering expertise – demonstrable experience and in-depth knowledge of reinforced concrete.
You will need to have at least 5 years setting out experience.
Demonstrable ability to manage QA processes / pre pour checks etc. backed up by personal experience on RC works- these can be quite complex structures- not just straightforward apartment blocks, for example.
The daily rate on offer is above market average- this is based on the fact that tolerances for error are much lower on these packages so setting out must be very accurate.
