Tradewind is looking for a SEMH Teaching Assistant for a SEMH school in North London. The role is full time starting ASAP with scope to continue into next academic year or become permanent.

An Alternative Provision for children and their families with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Their vision is to provide pupils with the confidence, educational progress and ambition necessary for a successful reintegration into mainstream school. This includes cultivating a productive lifestyle, personal resilience and the values required to become responsible members of society.
As a SEMH Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for the below:
- Supporting SEMH students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
- Encouraging and promoting student engagement in learning activities
- Contributing to support plans and strategies to meet the needs of each student
- Collaborating with staff, parents/carers, and outside agencies
- Monitoring and recording student progress and achievements
To join us and be successful in this role you will ideally need :
- Previous experience working with children with SEMH
- An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
- Legal right to work in the UK
