Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join the team. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced teaching staff to support the learning and development of children aged 3-5 years old. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners and contribute to their educational journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and stimulating lessons tailored to the needs of early years learners.
  • Support children with their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment where all children feel valued and respected.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Help to set up and maintain classroom resources and materials.
  • Contribute to the planning and preparation of activities and learning experiences.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting is desirable.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and helping them to succeed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of early years curriculum and best practices.
  • Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Childcare and Education are advantageous.
