We require a Street Lighting Operatives and Electricians based at various locations – East Sussex, Northamptonshire, Herefordshire, Lincolnshire, Warwickshire, Hampshire. As a Street Lighting Operative, your main responsibilities will be as

follows:

Maintenance of Lighting Columns, lighting brackets, Lanterns, bollards and signs.

•              The changing of lamps, lanterns, covers, electric cells, fuses, capacitors, switches.

•              Assist Street Lighting Electricians with fault finding and repair.

•              Assist with excavations for installations of Feeder Pillars, Lighting columns, Signposts, Bollards, EV Charge points and speed cameras.

•              Management of onsite point of work risk assessments.

•              Identify and report safety observations.

•              Responsible for site traffic management / Pedestrian Management.

•              Responsible for company Property, Equipment and Vehicles.

•              Emergency call outs make safes.

•              A demonstrable ability to learn new processes quickly.

•              IT skills Excel, Word ability to use a Tablet / Apps.

•              Full clean UK Driving Licence. Desirable Qualifications.

•              ECS Card to relevant level.

•              CSCS/NPORS card.

•             JIB card with CSCS-Approved Electrician

•              IPAF 1b + Harness and Fall Arrest training.

•              G39/1 Working in the vicinity of DNO.

•              NRSWA operative training.

•              302.1 (12D) Traffic Management.

•              Manual Handling training.

•              Emergency First Aid (1 Day) training.
