We have a fantastic opportunity for you to take the lead on mechanical operations at a groundbreaking healthcare center in Bedford. Our esteemed client, a leading M&E contracting firm with an impressive £12m turnover, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Supervisor to join their dynamic team.

You'll be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical works meet stringent specifications and uphold impeccable standards of craftsmanship.

Promptly addressing any non-conformance issues and diligently overseeing their resolution.

Monitoring project progress meticulously, coordinating trades seamlessly, and providing invaluable on-site technical support.

Collaborating closely with QS/Contract Managers to manage performance records, resolve issues efficiently, and oversee testing procedures.

Efficiently coordinating mechanical trades, labor, and material procurement schedules to ensure optimal project execution.

Generating detailed weekly progress reports and actively participating in crucial site meetings to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned.

To excel in this role, here's what you'll need:

A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar supervisory capacity.

Valid CSCS card with relevant grading, coupled with qualifications in mechanical engineering.

SSSTS/SMSTS certification to underscore your commitment to safety and professionalism.

Exceptional teamwork skills and a proven track record of reliability and effectiveness.

In return for your expertise, our client offers:

A competitive salary package of £55,000 per annum, complemented by additional benefits including a travel allowance.

A day rate averaging around £250 for a standard 9-hour workday (07:30 – 16:30)
