Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Stick Welder to join our welding team. As a Stick Welder, you will be responsible for welding metal components using the stick welding process (SMAW). You will interpret blueprints, specifications, and drawings to determine the appropriate welding techniques. Attention to detail, precision, and a strong focus on safety are crucial in this role.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements
• Perform stick welding (SMAW) on various metals and alloys
• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
• Inspect and assess welded surfaces, structures, and components to ensure integrity
• Operate welding equipment safely and maintain it in good working condition
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects within specified timelines
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment at all times

  
Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Stick Welder in the construction or manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in stick welding (SMAW) techniques and practices
• Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
• Knowledge of different metals and alloys and their welding requirements
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various positions and environments
• Welding certification is a plus
• CSCS Card 
• DBS check requiring
