Do you have HLTA qualification? Are you an ECT looking to build your teaching experience?

Now Education are recruiting on behalf of a Lambeth based Primary School who are looking to appoint a HLTA on an ADHOC basis.

The role will allow you to work across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and deliver lessons. You will also need to plan and deliver interventions to small groups, as well as providing general classroom support.

The role will commence immediately and will be on a supply basis going forward.

ECT’s/ NQT’s are encouraged to apply.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting students' physical, social and emotional well-being
  • Working as part of a team
  • Being able to communicate well with children, manage their behaviour and resolve issues in the classroom
  • Mentoring and guiding students requiring extra support
  • Listening, discussing and explaining

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
  • Strong work ethic
  • A passion for learning and supporting children
