In this full-time role, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, you will provide targeted support to Key Stage 1 or 2 students with behavioural needs. We are seeking individuals with a compassionate and patient approach, along with experience or training in managing challenging behaviours within an educational setting.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with classroom educators to design and implement individualized support plans for students with behavioural needs, ensuring their academic and emotional success.
• Utilize effective behavioural management strategies to create a positive and supportive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected.
• Foster inclusive classroom dynamics through proactive engagement and encouragement, promoting a sense of belonging and achievement.
• Implement proactive intervention techniques to address behavioural challenges and prevent escalation, facilitating a conducive learning environment for all students.
• Establish and maintain strong partnerships with parents, guardians, and external professionals, facilitating open communication and collaborative support for students’ holistic development.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience or training in managing challenging behaviours within an educational setting, with a focus on positive behaviour support and de-escalation techniques.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with students, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated empathy, patience, and resilience in supporting students facing behavioural challenges, coupled with a commitment to promoting their social and emotional well-being.

This is a full-time, long-term position with a daily rate of £85-£100, working during term time.
