Exam Invigilators - Short Term Cover (SEN Schools)

• Position:Exam Invigilators with a view to stay long term as a TA / Mentor
• Location: Southwark / South West London areas
• Contract Type: Short Term, Temporary  
• Hourly Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience  

About Us:
We are seeking dedicated Exam Invigilators to join Qualiteach on a short-term basis to support our SEN schools in South West and South East London areas. Our schools cater to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where every individual is supported to achieve their potential.

Job Description:
As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and fair conduct of examinations for our SEN students. Your responsibilities will include supervising exams, ensuring compliance with exam regulations, assisting students with additional needs, and maintaining a calm and supportive atmosphere throughout the examination process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up examination rooms and ensure all necessary materials are available.
- Greet students and explain exam procedures clearly and concisely.
- Supervise students during exams, ensuring compliance with exam regulations.
- Provide additional support to students with SEN, including reading exam questions or providing extra time if required.
- Handle any issues or disruptions during exams in a calm and professional manner.
- Collect and securely store exam papers at the end of each session.
- Complete necessary paperwork and reports as required.

Requirements:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain exam procedures clearly to students.
- Patience, resilience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A compassionate and supportive approach
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
