We're currently seeking a temporary Social Science Teacher to cover health and social care and childcare at our client school in Peterborough.

Wage: £160+ (negotiable DOE)

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and informative lessons in health and social care and childcare subjects
  • Create and implement effective lesson plans tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and active participation
  • Provide guidance and support to students, promoting their academic and personal development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status with experience teaching health and social care and childcare subjects
  • Deep knowledge of relevant curriculum standards and educational best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students and the curriculum
