Are you a seasoned Site Engineer eager to leave your mark on a transformative rail upgrade initiative in the dynamic North West region? My client is on the lookout for a passionate individual to join their team and play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of an ambitious project. From Earthworks to Concrete Structures, Heavy Civils, and Station Upgrades, this is your chance to make a significant impact on the future of regional transportation infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Earthworks: Lead the planning and execution of Earthworks activities, meticulously ensuring adherence to design specifications and stringent safety protocols. Manage excavation, embankment construction, and soil stabilization efforts to lay a robust foundation for rail infrastructure enhancements.

  2. Concrete Structures: Take charge of the construction of vital Concrete Structures, including bridges, culverts, abutments, and retaining walls. From formwork installation to concrete pouring and finishing, your expertise will be instrumental in delivering durable and aesthetically pleasing structures that stand the test of time.

  3. Heavy Civils: Oversee the implementation of Heavy Civils operations, encompassing piling, deep foundations, ground improvement, and drainage systems. With meticulous attention to detail, ensure that every aspect of the project aligns with engineering specifications and regulatory requirements, driving progress towards key milestones.

  4. Station Upgrades: Manage the transformation of railway stations, overseeing platform extensions, accessibility enhancements, structural upgrades, and facility refurbishments. Collaborate closely with architects, subcontractors, and stakeholders to create welcoming, efficient, and passenger-centric station environments.

Requirements:

  • Proven Expertise: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 3 years' experience in railway construction projects, with a focus on Earthworks, Concrete Structures, and Heavy Civils.

  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in project management tools and software, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.

  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and leadership skills, enabling effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders at all levels.

  • Safety Consciousness: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations and industry best practices, championing a culture of safety on-site at all times.
