Job Title: Freelance Site Manager - Refurbishment Project

Location: Nottingham, United Kingdom
Duration: 2 month initial contract (longer term opportunities on other projects with the same company)
Start Date: 14th May 2024
Day Rate: £260-£280 per day (negotiable based on experience)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a refurbishment project in Nottingham. The project involves the refurbishment of an existing building located on a bustling street in the heart of Nottingham.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the refurbishment project.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations on-site, ensuring compliance with CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, and Asbestos Awareness requirements.
• Supervise and manage the site team, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met.
• Oversee the replacement of three roofs, including two flat roofs, and coordinate full external decoration and refurbishment, including access stairwell and repair work to stone masonry.
• Maintain detailed project documentation and reports, including progress reports, budgets, and safety records.

Requirements:

• CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) certification.
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
• First Aid certification (3-day course).
• Asbestos Awareness certification.
• Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in refurbishment projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Start Date: 14th May 2024
Duration: 8 weeks+
Day Rate: £260-£280 per day (negotiable based on experience)
