RTL are looking for a Work Package Engineer with experience in delivering complex projects to join our client in the defence sector, working on a contract at a facility near Reading.

The roles require Security Clearance at SC level, therefore the ability to obtain clearance is essential,candidates already with SC are highly desirable but we are open to candidates without SC as our client can obtain it for them if they have only a British passport. 

Key Responsibilities

• Reviewing the MCS (master construction schedule) against Contractor submitted PFA. Review with Package Managers and Contractors. Ensure alignment where required.
• Reviewing forthcoming works and drafting TQ’s as required.
• Read and become conversant with the project specifications. Ensure the works are complaint against these.
• Review ITP’s against project specifications and ensure compliance.
• Review and ensure coordination of drawings.
• On site review, monitoring and recording of progress.
• Short and medium term planning. Produce programmes and monitor progress against them.
• Monitor works against the MCS and record progress.
• Review and track sign off sheets for works completed in accordance with the project requirements.

Section engineers:
• Mechanical biased (Ductwork)
• Mechanical biased (Nuclear grade mechanical doors)
• Building fit out experience essential

About you

·       CSCS Managers Card

·        Minimum of SMSTS

·        First Aid and MH First Aid preferred
