Location: Northampton

Position: Design and Technology (DT) Teacher - Full-Time

Start Date: September 2024

We are currently seeking a passionate DT Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis starting in September 2024. We believe that Design and Technology plays a vital role in developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and practical skills that are essential for success in the 21st century.

As a DT Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging, and inspiring lessons that ignite our students' curiosity and passion for design, engineering, and technology. You will have the opportunity to teach across a range of DT subjects and work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement innovative curriculum materials and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging DT lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Create hands-on projects and activities that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and innovation.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the DT curriculum, ensuring alignment with educational standards and school objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design and Technology or related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
