Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Location: Oldham, OL9
Salary Scale:  £17,000 to £21,000 per annum
Start Date: Start May through to July with the view to continue in September.

GSL Education are currently recruiting for Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work within a EYFS SEN provision within a school in Oldham.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting pupils to overcome any barriers to learning that their needs may pose. It is essential that you are nurturing by nature and have the educational welfare of every pupil at the heart of what you do. There may also be the opportunity to manage the full classroom for short periods in the teacher’s absence.

This role will be extremely rewarding, working within a smaller specialist class with all pupils having EHCP; so, whether you’re newly qualified or an experienced teaching assistant, if you’re wanting to work in a positive environment, to be well supported and feel fulfilled from your job, this is a great school to work in.

Key Requirements:

• Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
• Phonics experience
• Confidence to lead group work and interventions.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Willingness to learn new skills and techniques.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
