Our client, a leading company in the Defence & Security industry, is currently seeking a Detail Designer - Piping to join their team. This is a 12-month contract position based at their site in Scotstoun, with a hybrid work arrangement of 3 days per week onsite.
Job Requirements:
- Piping Design
- Experience in Defence industry
- Knowledge of foran (desirable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed designs and layouts for piping systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design compliance
- Create 2D and 3D models using design software
- Produce accurate technical documentation
- Conduct thorough quality checks on designs
- Adhere to project timelines and budgets
- Communicate and coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
