Job Duties:
  • Designing, installing, and maintaining lighting control systems
  • Conducting system testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality
  • Collaborating with other engineers and designers to integrate lighting controls with overall building systems
  • Providing technical support and training to clients on system operation
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in lighting control technology
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Lighting Control Engineer or similar role
  • Strong technical knowledge of lighting control systems and protocols
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and implementing lighting control systems

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Proficiency in programming and configuring lighting control systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in lighting control systems (e.g., Lutron, Crestron)
  • Experience with building automation systems
Working Conditions:
  • Work primarily in an office environment with occasional site visits
  • May require working outside of regular business hours to meet project deadlines
  • Travel to client sites as needed
