🔒 Safeguarding Officer Needed in Portsmouth! 🔒
Are you passionate about protecting the well-being of others? We're seeking a dedicated Safeguarding Officer to join our team in Portsmouth on an ongoing basis until the end of the academic year.
👩‍🎓 As a Safeguarding Officer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and welfare of our students and staff. You'll work closely with students, families, and external agencies to create a safe and supportive environment for everyone in our community.
🛡️ Responsibilities:

• Implementing safeguarding policies and procedures
• Providing guidance and support to staff and students on safeguarding issues
• Conducting risk assessments and managing safeguarding concerns
• Liaising with external agencies and stakeholders
• Delivering training sessions on safeguarding best practices

✅ Requirements:

• Previous experience in a safeguarding role (preferably within an educational setting)
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion
