Trades Assist

You will be supporting a variety of trades and will also be put through fire sentry training to be able to support Welders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support and assistance to tradesmen working on shiprepair projects
- Perform general labouring tasks
- Collection and delivery of materials, etc on and off site
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Job Requirements
- Must have a valid driving licence to be able to drive the company van on and off site
- Must be eligible for security clearance as BPSS is required for the role
- Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
- Be physically fit
- Motivated, reliable and hardworking
Hours - 40 per week as standard, but you can expect to work overtime and could work around 50 per week.
Rate - £11.44/h PAYE plus £1.38/h holiday pay or £15.05/h Umbrella co
There is a weekend uplift if OT is worked Sat/Sun.
