Are you a Team Leader or Senior Professional with experience in Highways, Street Lighting and Asset Management?

An opportunity has arisen for a Highways and Street Lighting Leader to join a client in North London.
 
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £42 - £48 per hour + expenses - negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible working arrangements available.
 
Duties & Responsibilities:
·Provide professional advice and assistance to help deliver the Highways, Lighting, Winter Service and Asset Management Plan.
·Develop and deliver work programmes to implement Council policies and strategies, including input to the council's Asset Management Plan and other relevant bidding, strategy and monitoring documents, including the Asset Management Plan.
·Provide specialist advice and professional guidance, undertaking research, evaluation, analysis, design and implementation of schemes, projects and programmes of all degrees of complexity as allocated. This includes multi-disciplinary project management expertise to oversee varied work programmes of importance to the division that are assigned including projects funded by major external stakeholders.
·The role will lead the engagement with statutory agencies as it relates to drainage and structures across the borough.
·Provide a commercial focus and develop and implement work practices that provide value for money and operational efficiency including the use of different delivery models including shared services.
·Work and coordinate with other areas to ensure fully joined up and coordinated service delivery is achieved.

Previous experience in Asset Management and Highways schemes is essential for this role. Carrington West are also looking for Highway Engineers and Technicians with similar backgrounds across the South of UK - please get in touch to find out more.
