Fire Alarm Engineer

Recruiting Fire and Security service & installation engineers!!
You'll focus on the installation of fire alarms (Part 1 and Part 6), CCTV & Access Control installations, as well as planned maintenance and servicing. Will include repairing safety systems to ensure compliance, whilst facilitating health & safety procedures.
Terms:
- £250 to £300 per day (dependant on experience etc)
- 8 hour shifts, Mon to Fri
- Out of hours/overtime to be agreed as and when
- Possible van supplied after a few months
Overview:
- To service, maintain and install fire alarms, security systems and emergency lighting systems in accordance with the relevant British Standards.
- To be able to install and troubleshoot remote monitoring devices.
- Correctly complete engineer service reports.
- Report on and maintain emergency lighting systems and other associated equipment such as AOV's.
- Have a health & safety mindset, observing possible risk associated with each premises and reporting issues promptly.
- Completing a first time fix wherever possible.
Ideal requirements:
- Full UK Driving license
- Previous fire alarm experience/security system experience
- City & Guilds or FIA training (or equivalent required)
- A good understanding of the British Standards, in particular BS5839
- An understanding of health & safety regulations
- A good level of IT literacy and written communication
- Own reliable transport and necessary tools/equipment
Areas: Kent, Sussex, Surrey and parts of London (travel paid) as well as any additional training where required. Ongoing long term work, 5 days a week, for the right individuals.
